Brickium · Guide
How do I keep track of the building sets I own?
In Brickium, sets live in Collection. Add a set by typing the number on its box or by scanning the box, then mark it as still built or taken apart. A set that is still built stays out of designs; take it apart and its pieces join your bricks, ready for new models.
Add a set
- By number. Type the set number from the box, for example 10696-1.
- By scanning. Point the camera at the box to read its set number or barcode, or choose a photo of it.
- Single parts. Add parts by part number, or photograph a handful of loose bricks. Recognition is a first pass: check the counts, and nothing is added until you tap add.
Still built or taken apart
When you add a set you choose its current status. A set that is still built stays out of designs, so a model is never planned around pieces that are holding up your display. Touch and hold a set to take it apart: its pieces join your bricks and can be used in designs, and the set stays in your collection, greyed.
Keep it organised
- Star a set, or touch, hold and move it to put it somewhere else.
- Change a set’s cover, or export the cover as a picture.
- Design with these parts starts a design from the pieces of one set.
- Remove a set: if it is still built, its pieces are removed from your bricks too; if it was taken apart, its pieces stay.

Questions people ask
Can I add a set without scanning the box?
Yes. Type the set number, for example 10696-1. Scanning reads the set number or barcode on the box, or from a photo of it.
Will Brickium use the bricks from a set I keep built?
No. A set marked still built stays out of designs. Take it apart in Collection and its pieces become available for designs.
What happens if I remove a set?
If it is still built, its pieces are removed from your bricks too. If it was taken apart, its pieces stay in your bricks.
Do I need an account?
Keeping a collection and an inventory needs an account, with Apple or Google sign-in. Looking around and the example on the home screen do not.
